Fill your home with love
It’s all too easy in our busy lives juggling work, kids and a million other demands to forget the things that matter most to us; our family and friends .
So what better reminder can there be of those special bonds, than a pencil portrait of our loved ones, which we can display in our homes.
The gift of love
A portrait drawing makes a wonderful gift.
Stuck for ideas on what gift to buy, then why not consider a hand drawn portrait?
A hand drawn pencil portrait makes a wonderful gift for your partner, family or a friend.
If you are interested in having a hand drawn portrait commissioned then I would be delighted to chat with you.
It’s not all black and white
Portraits of adults can often benefit from a paper colour other than white; perhaps a pencil portrait on a tan colour paper or a light grey?
What works best with a particular portrait drawing depends on the subject, the photo and where you want to display the drawing.
If your home is minimalist with lots of white walls then a more traditional portrait drawing on white paper in a thin black frame might work best? If you have decorated your living room with dark tones and perhaps a lot of greens or browns then a portrait on a coloured paper with a more traditional style frame might be best?
Whatever you decide, a one off hand drawn portrait, of those who matter most in our lives, is a wonderful way to decorate your home. A way to bring more love into your home; with beautiful art that really matters to you.
